What's with the last picture, I know it was an accident, but why do you have a drawing loaded on your computer?

                    Sparky,

have you ever gone backpacking? If you have then you can answer your own question. If not then I will.

When your say 80 miles out in the woods, no civilization around at all, you have to have water, and if you don't have a good water bottle then your SOL. Well I have had some cheaper bottles at times, and it never fails how careful you are you will ALWAYS drop them. Well the cheap one's have broken on me when just dropped from my waist.

I have taken the nalgene bottle, full of water and thrown it off a 150 foot cliff on to rocks, the first time it made it, the second time it still made it but it landed on the lid and cracked it so it would leak a bit of water when you held it upside down. These bottles are amazing!!

After having one explode in my computer bag I can tell you that having one of these when traveling is a very good thing!

Lids are crap, I was trying to prove to my friend how tuff they are and the lid broke, I looked like an idiot.

You can also boil water in it. I had a friend do it on a MSR stove but, he had trouble getting the soot off of the bottle. I also dropped mine off a cliff and it also made it, except the lid. Just had to buy new lid at REI.
