1964 Chevy Impala SS convertable with 327 ci /325 hp & 350 turbo trans. What a sweet ride that was, pale yellow with a black top and black interior. Of course it helped that my dad owned multiple auto repair business's and always got sweet deals on cars. And of course i had to work it off all summer long in the shop.

my first and current truck is a 96 mazda b4000(basically a ford ranger). i worked all and bought it from my uncle for 2,500. i jumped the crap out of it off of this private lane by my house that comes to a peak at the top and just went crazy with it.
then i thought i was good at power sliding, came around a corner doing 40 and totally lost it and rolled it on its side. so 3500 later in body work and paint im still rockin in it. just not trying to be such a hard A$$

An '81 vette .... a chevette (often called the sh*tvette). A maroon/rusty 1981 Chevrolet Chevette hatchback. I'd give the full specs, but it wouldn't be worth my time to google them. It had a 1. something liter engine, and the front strut shelfs rusted away so I had to make a bracket to bolt on top of the strut - to secure them to the "good metal". It got around tho, and only vibrated mildly on the interstate until about 55- then it was over. My brother bought the car in San Diego (before the rust) and drove it back to Iowa for my dad - not envious of that trip. Then it was handed down to me - AM radio and all. I ended up winning the worst sounding stereo contest at a local audio dealer - it was just my luck that Elvis was playing on the one station it got - and as the contest announcer stated - it sounded like he had been dead a long time!

Ah, what a piece of crap - but it did make me appreciate having something at least - and now I'm driving a brand new Tige

            77 VW Rabbit 2dr hatchback

            lime green
1.6 lt 4cyl (first yr for fuel inj)
            3spd automatic
            no ac
            120k miles
            front end bra
lots of "leg room" in the back for a 2dr
speedo stopped @ 100mph, but she kept going

I owned this car twice. Dad made me trade it in on a new car for my older sister to take to school and I got hers as a hand-me-down. A yr and a half later, I found the car and bought it back. Drove it another 4 or 5 yrs before sending it to the masher I drove the SH!T out of that car, on and off the road.

Mine was a '58 Chevy Fleetside pickup. I got it for $900 and it just needed the motor redone. It was original and in good shape. Had the chrome grill and bumpers, original paint, original bench seat, the tube am radio still worked. What was cool was it had the wraparound back glass instead of the little port hole.
The hard part was learning how to shift the 3 on the tree. When going into 2nd I kept wanting to turn the steering wheel too.

A1960 Rambler. Black paint black interior black metal dashboard 3 on the tree with a 6cyl and no a/c. It was hotter then hell but what a great time. The front seats reclined all the way back to the back seat. It was a great drive in movie car.

I had one of these, except it was manual. It was my second car.

my first car was a 1980 Volkswagon Dasher Diesel.
0 to 60 in 20 seconds I timed it, pure lameness but then again it was passed down from my sister to my brother then to me and it was free thanks to my parents so I shouldn't complain.

I'm lucky to still be alive. I shared a beater with my older brother until I was 21 and bought a '68 Mustang GT Fastback, 390, C6 Auto, Blue with the white C stripe. Oh how I wish I still had that car- so much fun.
