    New ride!

I just put the deposit down yesterday and will be going to pick it up in a couple of weeks when I can get off from work. I sold my vette (to my dad)and was looking for a good replacement in performance that had a backseat for the kids. Oh it's a '99 FireHawk.

I always loved working on those You got the LS1 or LS6?

Wannabe, I think your friends driving record had more to do with the $400 /month premium than the car.

Well as far as I know he was a great driver, he was a cop so I dont think he got to many tickets and no accidents, speed tickets, etc. They said it was because he was single and had no kids and because of his age, and the model car, it was a cheaper amount up until they found out it was a firehawk and then it got "reclassified" and rates went up.

But hey i dont know all the details.

$400 a MONTH!!!! My lord that's more than I pay for my Truck, Car, Boat, Life, Umbrella, and homeowners insurance.......

          Stang,
I'm not much of a sports-car-guy but that is a sick looking ride. I love the wheels.....Have FUN!

Sweet ride I know Andrew had something similar and posted a crazy picture of his racing. The whole front end was about 5 feet off the road.

              Ah, found it. http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...4&postcount=53

Full coverage for me is $40 month, same as my vette. This is with $500 deductables. Quite a bit different than $400.

I would assume chpthril would agree that $400 a month is SR22 level insurance. My brother had high risk insurance and it wasn't even that high.

                chpthil-it's an LS1 car with a 6spd.

sparky-I like the wheels too except I don't like chrome. I would rather have a dark color to match the black. I will either paint them or try to swap with someone.

I just read that post! This was before my time in the forum and that Z06 is sweet! Also, I never plan on lifting the frontend on my car that high. Scary. With the right suspension and power I would like to see 11's which with an LS1 car is pretty easily attainable.

You have to give me a great deal on something like Moki did to get a free ride.
