Here's the problem with the gas being so cheap again...people are going to start buying all of the SUV's and crap that they couldn't afford to drive 3 months ago and then demand will increase (again) and prices will go back up (again) and then we will be at $4 gas (again). Amazing how that works....

Not me. I'm still having fun driving my '09 Jetta TDI. I'm gettin' 35 in the city and 44 on the highway...yeah baby!

Still a bit torqued about diesel being more than gas, except in Cali. WTF?

Nice! I would like to get a Jetta TDI wagon at some point but my wife absolutely hates Jetta's after her last one turned out to be such a POS ('04).

That's too bad. I gotta say, I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality of this car. We already have 3200 miles on it (got it in the middle of September). I have to pry it out of my wife's hands.

Her's they had to replace the whole top end of the motor at 32,000 miles because it sounded like a diesel but wasn't! And that was with oil changes every 3,000 miles...BUT, you will find that type of case with ANY manufacturer, there's always a bad one out there.

Got diesel for 2.79 just outside of L.A. on Sunday. It's still in the mid 3's in Reno.

I'm kind of shocked that's all your getting dog???? Two of my friends w/ the TDI Jetta are getting 50-60 mpg's on the highway... I've been along for the ride on one of the trips and verified it myself. But they are older Jetta's... so I wonder if it's the new emissions stuff. I know the new emissions crap has killed the mileage on the trucks. My MPG's literally drop from 18 mpg's on highway down to 10 mpg's while I'm in regen mode. So I ditched my DPF and turned off regen some time ago and all is well again!
Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

It's all the new emission crap! Kinda why I think I'll keep my 7.3 and just try and get coil over's in the front.
