Is that $117.46 take you for more than a week?

@ 3.71 $58 to fill Jeep and $ 69 to fill Expedition both from under 1/8 tank.
No we only use it to tow the boat, trip to Costco...etc...it's got the 8.1L and I don't think it's been filled up since January.

My Tahoe on the other hand, cost me $84.00 to fill up and that will last me about 2 days, thank god for my Wright Express card

H3 is basically a tie. I'm having a real hard time finding any data on the 8.1L burbans, but the mileage is real poor. I'd estimate that it's around 9-11mpg, but the H2 from what I read is about the same at my Suburban. The only thing that I would stress is that the gas mileage reports that I was reading were for new H2/H3's and my 6yr old 125800 8.1L Burban is getting 9-11mpg. So if Chevy still made the big engine then we could compare, but I know the new Burbans get much better mileage now. Even if all things were considered, and mileage was the same, I would still take the Burban over any Hummer because of function and use. The H2 only seats 4 right? I like the 4 captains chairs and 3 seat bench in the Burban. Oh well to each it's own

Personally, I think Hummers are a poor choice for a tow vehicle. A Suburban pulls much more and is way more functional.

I would also agree. I have a 02 Yukon Denali xl 6.0? awd. Pulls like a champ with 110,000 miles on her. Putting new plugs and wires on her this weekend. Trying to get the milage up a bit. Right now I only get 12-13 best with out boat in tow. I also have the second row captians chairs. They are great to nap in.

I agree, two day ago we were at 3.42 unleaded now it is at 3.35.
Bam now that wasn't hard. baby steps but maybe we can get it down to 3.00??
What is bad about getting it down to 3.00 is we will all think that is a good price.....The bastards.......

We can kiss $3.00 per gallon goodbye, from what I here $4.10 to $4.50 per gallon for 89 octane is going to be the going rate by August. Get ready to BEND OVER because there isn't a F-ING thing that we can do about it and if what I have been reading lately this summer is going to look like a deal compared to next year.
The oil companies are going to drive you guys to floating in a cove and drinking beer. Is that what you bought these $50,000+ boats for? I don't think so.
The national real estate debacle took me out of the boating game but I can tell you that this would have been the last year my wife and I would have kept our boat with the prices of fuel soaring the way they are.
It will be interesting to here what everyone is doing one to two years from now.

Last week we had a grocery store around the corner that has a fuel center and I guess they were running a short time promotion and had regular gas at $2.99 it forced the Exxon station next to them to have the same price. You talk about chaos and pandemonium, it was a mad house, cars were backed up more than 100 yards across the parking lot.

                              It's really a shame, $2.99 really sounds like a bargain doesn't it.
I don't want to go to work, take me wake surfing instead!
