I'm with Dog on that one. We all talk tough until we know the wife might be listening. I have to admit, that I have been trained more than training in my 20 years of marriage bliss. It's my boat when the expenses are involved and hers when it's time for fun, I'm ok with that as long as I'm in on the fun.

No, suprisingly enough she is o.k. with me bragging about our deal. The only time she got a little pissy is when my friend of 30 years was over, he and I were sucking down some cold ones while she was cleaning the pool, my buddy was awe struck at what he was seeing, I got a little cocky and asked if she could finish sweeping the pool in some heels and bikini. Needless to say that did NOT work to my advantage. All is good in my hood now. Just have to let her remind me where that line is so I know if I have crossed it.

I know what it's like to work hard for a company and receive only a paycheck. Can't believe how tight people are when it comes to bonus'. We used to get a honeybaked ham and a card for our bonus, then it went to a cosco ham and a card, then just a card, and then NOTHING! Oh, maybe not nothing, hey everyone look at all my new toys I bought!
As for training wifes. 3 1/2 years ago my wife stopped working too have our baby. I made a deal with her, from this day on till she goes back to work I get to forget how to do yard work. I haven't washed a car (except the vette, that is almost spiritual for me) mowed the lawn, picked up dog crap or cleaned the pool in nearly 4 years. She does it all. I just sit back and rest with a tall vodka tonic and watch her do her thing. And that my friends is how I roll...
At least you got a bonus, even if it was not much and diminished over time. My best bonus is only working 185 days a year and having time to go to the river, but as most know teaching is not a bonus driven business.

Good staff is hard to find. I am in the same boat (pun intended) myself, good luck with your search.

We are looking to be in the high 70's to mid 80's... The bad thing is that I am going out of town to Monterey and by the ocean. No, I can't take the boat into the ocean.... Well, I could but I will have to wait for another week or two.....
