Wow in just a month or so it will be 4.00, no doubt. Yikes!
I had a conversation with a few people at my work and we discussed that some of our hourly people may not even be able to show up for work because of gas prices. Some drive 45 minutes to an hour. Maybe even more likely for them just a few days before pay day when money is getting thin.
$3.43 by the house.............will prolly be $3.50 by Sat

I am pleased with boats efficiency compared to I/O I had but now towing will kill. To do the 6 hrs round trip to my dads lake in the Jeep with the boat will be $120.00+
Vacation trip to Bullshoals in June driving gas only $243 one way + $45-60 a day in the boat. The Lake Resorts are going to have a very rough year. I feel sorry for the new resort owners.
Chevron $3.51
Shell and Texaco $3.42
Circle K $3.22
RaceTrak (discount gas) $3.20
All coming in to work and eating at T'Coons this morning.
Next time I head up to the Oxbow or Kincaid, I am leaving my boat parked at my pop's farm. Screw 14mpg towing 80 miles. I'll have to give up riding at the local Lake though.
