yeah that's true.

I mean the chippies are EVERYWHERE on the 5. It's crazy! I have driven on 40 so many times or the 15 and never seen a cop. Unless of course it's the weekend on the 15, then they are everywhere.

wow have not paid under 3 in months. Oh well, don't care, i like what I have and I like to play. Just need to get a new car.

When I have to tow the boat from Havasu to Vegas I have been limiting myself to between 55 and 62. So much less stressfull. Seems to get the most mpg out of the 6.0 even though towing still sucks at between 8 and 11 mpg. I am glad I leave the truck and boat in havasu as the commuter car gets about 30 mpg doing 75 mph to get from LA to Havasu

To be honest I cant believe people are not starting to hi-jack tanker trucks and burn down gas stations......


What the heck are we going to do about the prices? Get 3 jobs and sell all of our toys just to live????

Hey I am not happy about the prices but we did this to ourselves. Look at europe. Good public transportation, small cars.
Here everyone has to have there own car. We are the land of the supersize. We did not learn from past gas crisis's. Take a bus, train or carpool oh no..
I adapted last time by leaving truck in havasu and getting a commuter car. This year no more MR nice guy. Boating with friends I will not charge them for gas but will have to chrge them room and board for staying in my house

Even lately, I wil not drive to Havasu if I am alone. Have enough freinds going out there we can carpool. If they drive i still have the truck or Rhino to get around havasu in.

So true, but at least they have other options to get around. We are a true commuter society. Just a little while ago we said we would be happy if gas went back under $2.00/gal. I would be happy if went back under 3. People are saying $4 - 5 per gallon this summer. Hope you do not need to fill up on a lake

I hear you...... I'm just so happy my new job is only 2 miles from my house..... its been big help already

I never fill up on the water just not worth is I always get my gas in AZ side of Laughlin it's like a $.30-.35 difference across the river.
