Can't drive primary 55
In the wake of rule violations found during pre- and post-qualifying inspection for the Daytona 500, NASCAR has confiscated the primary car of the No. 55 Toyota; ejected two members of Michael Waltrip Racing; penalized Waltrip with the loss of 100 driver points and 100 car owner points; and disallowed his qualifying time.

#9 Kahne lost team director for 4 races, 50 driver and 50 owner points
#19 Sadler lost team director for 2 races, 25 driver and 25 owner points
#10 Riggs lost team director for 2 races, 25 driver and 25 owner points
#17 Kenseth lost crewchief (Reiser fined $50k) for 4 races, 50 driver and 50 owner

Obviously I'm disappointed with the penalty and the fact I won't be there at the Daytona 500 and for the following races," Reiser said. "It was my job to ensure that the cap on the wheel well was properly secured, but it came off during our qualifying run and we ended up outside of the rules because of it

they are building a new "Nascar" track in my town. It's a 1/2 mile oval. Won't be on the winston series, but will host smaller venues. Should be pretty cool.
