After 4 years of being on a waiting list, we finally got a booth at the Mid-Atlantic Boat Show in Charlotte NC.

My wife owns an Insurance agency, and we have tried to get into the show for so long. The venders from the previous year have first shot to sign back up for the next year. All others interested get put on a waiting list. If a booth comes open, they start filling from the list. After 4 yrs, they called this past Wed. (show opens this coming Wed. ) to say that they had a cancellation.

I'm gona be one busy son of a gun trying to put something together in time to set up on Tuesday . I'll also be hangin out with our new Tige Dealer, Lake Wylie Boat and Yatch (HQ Marine).

actually it is a great concept....if your mobile and able to qoute on site.
think about it. your there you've had your beers at the show and now your ready to buy. hey how much is my insurance???? Oh I can get a quote right over there....I have been pushing my company for years to set up a stand at the local shows. Good luck and let us know how it goes for you.

Not only is our boat policy is very comprehensive and competitively priced, but we offer all lines of insurance including Classic Car.
We have also gone wireless, so we can quote and write on the spot.

This will be new for us, so hopefully it will work out to the good.

I run a multi-line claims team for progressive. we handle mainly boat, motorcycle, and rv losses. Our local show starts this weekend. I will go next weekend when the pro riders forum is there.

Do you have a t/l replacement policy? we offer it on our boats for the first 5 years of a new boat insured...we also have an agreed value policy for used boats. Do you all offer anything like that? Pm me I would like to know what you guys are offering.

Go to a boat show in Florida, I think the booths for insurance or financing easily equal the number of booths for all the other boat stuff.

I have never been to one, but it makes sense to me. I would think it's a great place for insurance and banks alike to make some $$

We just got another boat show added to our area. Now we have the Bass Boat show!!!! and a Pleasure boat show.


We are big time, baby!

BTW, the bass boat show got canceled due to an ice storm so now they will be shown in the parking lot of the Pleasure boat show.

(last year the pleasure and bass boats were all together with about 75% of the exhibits being bass boats)
