My daugher and I are heading to Monster Trucks tomorrow night at Anaheim Stadium. We started doing this 2 years ago when she turned 3. We go out with all of our river buddies and take out the 5th wheel and get there early and tailgate with the kids. Chili Dogs and a ton of junk food. The kid ride around on there razors and bikes. This year the city really enforced the No Motorized toys rule. Always a blast. It is funny how excited a 5 year old gets about the big trucks crushing everything. Next year the boy makes his debut.

Same with my boys. They love it. We started 2 years ago with my 3 year old and had so much fun we decided to make it a yearly tradition. This year was the first for my 2 1/2 year old and he loved it. Now he plays monster truck every day with his toys.
Every year they have 2 shows. In '05 we went to the 2nd one and it was great. The next 2 years we went to the 1st night of the 2 and both times were not nearly as good as the 1st year. It seemed like the drivers would baby the trucks since they need to be running again 2 weeks later. The only thing that was exciting this year was the crash derby race.

Other thing was the ticket price........I have not seen a monster truck show in probably 8-9 years and I couldn't believe the prices.............. ranging from 60-95 bucks per ticket!!!!!!!!
