    Tequilasun,
I actually taught lessons for 4 years through out college at Sundance Ski Resort. I always had Tuesdays and Thursdays and Saturdays for skiing. I can understand how easy it would have been to drop out of college and just ski. But, as you say, life happens.

Let me know when you are coming out next year!

      Evil0ne,
I love Deer Valley. Ironically, I will be in Las Vegas duing that time! If for some reason, our trip falls through, I would love to go skiing with you.

        Moki, Evilone et al...

You know this whole thread is leading to a Tigeowners Ski get together right?

I say we have Moki plan it all up for us! Make it over an extended weekend, and I would be in, someone could teach me how to snowboard too.

That is ironic. My aunt has a condo and that was the first weekend she wasn't making mad money off of it so me and a buddy are going up. We should be there Thursday night and skiing Friday and Saturday and maybe a short Sunday. I haven't skiied in 10 years and was never good, so it should be fun. I'll be bringing the snowboard in case we go to Park City one of the days.

You misspelled that last sentence. It should read:

Da Bears are in da superbowl and are going to beat da Colts.

It is sort of a Spring break trip. My buddies wife is an Elementary School teacher, and she won't let us go without her, she is as big a ski nut as we are.

We have two little ones, and they are the primary reason that my wife won't be going with me this year. Next year though. How old is your little guy, mine will be 3 in March, and I know he would love to snow ski, just a bit small yet.

We signed up for one of the Hilton Vacation Packages in Vegas that was dirt cheap. I have to sit through one of those 90 minute condo presentations. I have been working on my excuses not to buy:

Man, I am really interested....it's too bad that I have to pay for my upcoming heart transplant or

Man, I am really interested...it's too bad that I just got laid off last week and just declared bankrupty

It would have to be 2008 for me. I can't squeeze anymore early season vacation days out of the biz, plus I have to save up for some Summer fun on the Tige!

Like I said, I'll be up at Deer Valley March 1-3 if anyone wants to meet up. I can also probably meet at Brian Head any other weekend if that's close for anyone.

                              T-minus 11 days and counting.

                              18th - 24th Keystone & Breckinridge....mainly Keystone.

It is decided that we will all be skiing, one last Hurrah as they say. Plus the buddy that was going to teach us had lower back surgery at the end of last summer, and he believes that skiing will be easier on his back.

This flatlander is stoked (does anyone still say stoked)

Not trying to say what your buddy thinks is wrong, but spending a semester in Patagonia (southern Chile) mountaineering with an 80 lb pack and kayaking left me with HORRIBLE back and I think skiing takes way more out of me than snowboarding. The rapid side to side motion and bump runs kill my lower back especially. That is one reason I switched to doing more boarding. Have fun on your trip, I wanted to make a second run to Jackson but I don't think it will happen. Oh well
