well she walks fine on it now, minus the bandage so she has a "Club" foot. My uncle is a vet and he said that you will be amazed at how adapt dogs will get. She tries to do everything she used to do before this. My vet says that as long as we can keep it clean and no infections she things she will be fine, just takes a LONG LONG time. The problem is there wasn't much skin around the area, and she pulled some up, but last night it came off However she said it's not a big deal and we are putting honey, yes honey on it to help the skin grow back and get rid of the old stuff, so lets just hope it works, and we don't have to amputate it.
This dog loves to run, and she is devistated now everytime I take my youngest running, cuz she can't go. I need to put a set of dog boots for the oldest one. Does anyone have any experience with boots that still let a dog run, but give some support and cushion? or know anyone that has made them? I have heard serach and rescue dogs have them so they don't get cut up in the debris of say the trade towers but I have no idea where to get them.Originally posted by G-MONEYIt hurts me to say it but go OU but only for this weekend!!!!

that's funny...reminds me of the time when my oldest got hold of the baby powder when he was 2. My wife and I saw this white dust cloud running down the hall and into the bathroom. We quickly figured out that he had emptied an entire large container of baby powder all over his room.
Not quite as bad as paint, but the room was bigger and had carpet.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."
