ah i see, guess I'll have to go on a tropical one. has anyone ever gone a cruise alone? I was toying with the idea just to meet some female friends Just wondering.

They are fun, wife and I did the inside passage last year, but dude that is one OLD crowd. We were the youngest, except for some arm candy that the old guys had, by a good 15 yrs. Still had fun but go with another couple so you have some ppl your "own age".

I figured as much. I think I'll just stick to planning my own trip up there someday. I really want to go salmon fishing up there sometime.

I can tell you on the two we have gone on, the single dudes really had their choice. However it was of people's children...Mom and dad were around! It sounds kinda gross, but the guys we took with us were in college, and the girls they hooked up with were in college as well. You could have your choice of several older moms too Dom.



BTW, Carnival does "singles only" trips, that might not be too bad.

Let me know when your ready to plan, I got some good info for you. We go up for Halibut and Kings every year, well I dont go every year but my dad does. We will be going up this Sept.

a singles cruise, there we go, I think that could be fun. Hey as long as they are legal then let the games begin, who cares if mom and dad are there, they can add to the conversation and fun

I have been on that Alaskan cruise, it wasn't my choice, but I really enjoyed it. As Chpthrl mentioned, the fauna (big word for wildlife of a particular region) is amazing. I went on a Mexican Riviera Cruise twice. One of the times, unknown to us, it was also the Richard Simmons "Cruise to Lose". I felt great about my physical shape the whole trip -- I highly recommend it

Dom, if you do go on a cruise and happen to get killed, can we claim the million dollars that will go to your estate

I like Royal Caribean, but that's the only ones I've been on. Cruise ships are kind of like travel brochures, they show you places you would like to spend more time.

i heard carnival is the more party boat, 3 star cruise for the younger crowd, where princess is the 5 star, not so much party, for the older crowd. This coming from my mom. I'll just look into the singles cruise, that would be fun fun fun

I just do a search on the web for what i want and then modify 'em. Like adding the ballcap w/Tige' to my crrent one.
