Drink of choice

Ok, this is not about Carpets!!!

We/I got a bit off track in another thread, discussing Tequilas.

I'm a bit of a collector of Tequilas. What do you guys like to drink?

We'll try to keep this thread on topic....

sporting event=beer

If i'm with a bunch of good buddies and we are just hanging out and doing a lot of talking a really like a good dark beer, such as Guiness or any porter.

If we are all dressed up, then I prefer a good single malt scotch.

I have never had good tequilla.

If I'm with my best friends and thier parents then it's wine all the way. They are wine junkies and it's so much fun to try thier wine, since I know I like wine, but don't know what wine is really good, and what isn't...... until i finish the bottle

Well, I like whiskey (JD mostly) and a good beer too. My current favorite is 90 Shilling.

Good Tequila is my passion though. I started drinking the cheap stuff in college cause it was the only thing I could bring to a party that didn't get mooched on. That led to me being known as the Tequila man, and many years of gifts of Tequila.

I do enjoy a good wine as well, but I'm ignorant as to how to pick them, so I defer to others knowledge.

I like to drink some vodka on ocasion as well, the problem is I like to drink it like beer=short night.

But on the water those usually equate to a headache, so I do canned brew. It's also very hard to beat an iced mixed drink out on the boat. And I love vodka. Stoli and grey goose.

LOL....and this coming from a tequila connoisseur.

It's all about finding the proper temperature with vodka.....just below freezing is just right for me.

Vodka, kettle one or tio's is the only way to go

I prefer vodka tonics or SOBE!

I went to Costco and they have thier sam adams winter brew random case on special. IT"S AWESOME!! I love it!

Kettle on is pretty good too. But Vodka isn't supposed to taste good, the whole point of good vodka is that it doesn't have a taste...or hangover

good cold vodka is like water, nice an refreshing!! I prefer my vodka frozen!! OK, guess I can't freeze it but ya know!

Funny thing is that i learned years ago i can't drink scotch, bourbon, vodka, etc, etc. I can however drink a good tequila without any morning after ill affects, go figure.
