The flowers were down near Clarkdale in Arizona at an indian ruin... very cool place.
As for air photos, I too love shooting at air shows etc... The Thunderbirds are always fun to see... I work with the military in my job so usually get a little better access to the flight line etc and can get some of the uncluttered shots without all the people in the way etc...Comment

Sweet! I wanted to fly jets ever since I was young and had my student pilots license when I was in high school. I barely passed the color blind test for the pilot's license, so I gave up trying to get past the air force requirements.
Now, I am happy to admire from the ground.Comment

What air show were you at with the heritage picture of the P51 on up? They did a fly by like that at March with a P-51, F-4, F-15 and F-22 Raptor... Very cool to see...Comment

Hill Air Force base in Ogden in July.
I was also at the air show when the F-16s first arrived there in the early 80s. The Thunderbirds were there and one crashed when they were showing the speed difference where one jet flew by fast and the other crawled along. The slow one experienced a flame out, he could have bailed, but he tried to land it and hit a piece of farm machinery.
My brother-in-law works at Hill as a civilian. I think he works with the C-5s.
The show comes to Hill about every 2 years and I always go
