It was sooo hot here, we almost bailed going out boarding. Good thing we went. It was perfect. No boats and mostly glass.

I used to work with a guy who was a part time photo-journalist with the OKC ABC affiliate; he chased them as a hobby, and had some bad-a$$ video of several storms...It's not an optical illusion.

I am not a water sports guy, (metal hips). I know, you are asking, why am I on the Tige site... Still, to see the younsters learning to either ski, or wakeboard, or even snow ski is so much fun...It's not an optical illusion.

I have a Catalina 22 at the moment.
It was a funny thing; I have had tons of sailboats over the years, and got rid of them when my ex-wife was showing no interest in being on the water.
Well, she "bailed" on me a few years ago, (thank goodness) and I was kind of wishing for another sailboat, but not doing anything. I sailed in Jamaica in December of last year, and decided I needed to get back into a sailboat.
I found the Catalina 22 in April; the GF and I thought about it and decided that we really wanted a C25 or C27 for the interior volume, layout, gally and enclosed head. I did not want to have the guy who owned the 22 too upset with me about going fickle on him over a larger boat, so I low-balled him hard on the price, thinking I could get away from negotiations by offering way less than he needed.
I was wrong; he accepted my low-ball offer, so I laughed, my GF laughed, and we bought the boat.
So far we like it. We re-did the bottom paint, polished and polished and polished until the oxidation was all off and the boat was looking real new. I ordered all new running rigging, and re-finished all teh teak brightwork. There is new canvas on the way...It's not an optical illusion.

I am iin the middle of a stereo install. I installed a Sony MEX-1GP radio with the 1 gig flash drive built in. IT is handy. I also installed a TV tuner/DVD player and a 12" flat panel TV.
I still need to work out antenna issues, and I need to mount the TV, install the surround speakers, the MP3 player input, and a few other odds and ends, but hey, at least I am started...It's not an optical illusion.
