I grew up in Iowa. Always thought this area NY, MD, etc. was nothing but crazy traffic and crowds every. Annapolis is like a really cool small town. I call it the "Boulder, CO" of the east coast.

We get some big storms, but not like back there. Thank God.

I was actually amazed as a kid to discover that there was grass in New York City...

It seemed like a literal definition of the "concrete jungle" to me when I was just a wee one...

I get a kick out of people in California who get all in a tif about tornadoes. You CAN hide from them.... How in the world to you hide from an earthquake?

We have fairly mild weather here. Not too hot/cold. Great 4 seasons.
