Sorry to hear that you have custody issues... I do too.
In the midst of a custody eval that is over a year old at this point. Amazing that I have any hair at all! I feel for my kids every day........

It isn't fun and sorry that you have them also. Wish ppl would just get along but the ex always wants to say that I can not parent better than her. However, that isn't what they should be looking at. It's that you can parent and the children need to spend the time with their other parent.

In my case, she spends money like it is her job. I still get calls from the creditors that she has evaded for more than 6 months. The irresponsibility unfortunately spills into her parenting. She can't see 2 inches past her nose.... and is passive aggressive to the point of being self-destructive. not a good scene. The kids are doing very well considering the circumstances as am I. I found an awesome partner (SWMBO) and gained 2 wonderful girls in the process. We now have kids aged: 8,6,5 & 4. Life is good!

I found a great GF also.
The ex filed for bankrupcy 2 years ago. I wasn't affected but did have some credit card companies ask questions because she was on the account at one time or another. I took her off 1 week after she moved out of the house.
The judge also directed us to see a counsellor for anger issues. Have looked into 3 already only to get that "she can't do it." Now I have to do the same but have letters sent into the court system.
Not to mention she has had the Child Protective Services called on her twice because the cleanliness of the house.
