I got most of the wood on the boat cleaned and refinished. Three coats of Sikkens Cetol.

You can just barely see the bad wood in the left pic above, it is the wood with the snaps in it, which is either side of the entry way...

Well, it is definitely a work in progress but it is nice to know that you are able to use it now.

Yeah, it is nice. All the wood is done with the exception of the hand rails and the "Eyebrow" rails, and the little holes for storage out in eh cockpit.

Putting a stereo in will be nice...

Actually, I decided it would be a good thing to get her floating... S can take time geting used to it, and she and I can look around together inside and make a good decision about where things go after having used the boat.

An example: there is a drawer that is in a convenient place for TP for the toilet, but she suggested that the stereo should go there. Well, now we have been out for long enough for her to see that the drawer really is good for TP.

Ya, we are having the same issue with the new boat. Too many items are stored in places that people usually sit. Have to more things around tomorrow night.

Nah, just getting rid of a couple of beverages...

You have to be able to be with a boat for a wile to see what works, as you point out. I know I am going to get to move some stuff around, just like you.


Having a boat that has not been hacked on by someone else is really nice; we do not have to repair any other's mistakes...
