I just read Sean's thread about the accident. He has said over the last year about taking people home when they drink and I know he would have an occational drink but he also said he would never drive in such a condition. I am shocked and worried for him. I hope he is able to make it thru this and can post on the site again. He is like a brother to me since we have had a lot of communication between each other. Especially on this thread alone.

I feel like an arse because I saw that thread yesterday and thought it was something else so I didn't look into it. Knowing Sean for a year now and this isn't hitting to well for me at all. I know him very well and we have had a lot of time to talk and get to know each other on this thread. I hope he is okay and he is able to live with the idea that his passenger was killed. That alone is going to be hard to get over.

Thing I don't understand is why would he be driving home "drunks" on his bike. Drunks don't exactly have the best balance or ability to listen, seems dangerous to have an intoxicated person riding on the rear of a bike.

Morning dudes. So sad about Sean and i seriously hope he makes a full recovery. I've known many riders that have had bad accidents, some lived and some didn't. Some were crippled and some made full recoveries. Ride the streets long enough like i did and it will impact you in ways you never knew were possible. I've been down three times in thirty years and have been extremely lucky, but luck only goes so far. That's one of the reasons i finally hung up the old chaps and gave it up, i almost was in Sean's position twice in one day a bit over a year ago and that was enough for the wife and I.
I don't believe Sean was bartending that night according to what SBFAN said in the post. Who knows what happened, only he does i guess.
Don't worry about the thread thing DA, face it we have so many threads going on that it could have been anything. How were you to know?
I'm as shocked as everyone too, i consider Dom a good friend as well as we've conversed for about two years now. He's like a conerstone of this forum and i know in my heart he'll pull through physically, it's the mental that has me worried. All we can do is pray and hope. I'm not a big religous guy but i'm praying for him with all my heart."Call me anything you want ... Just don't call me NOBODY!

I don't believe he was drinking because just this last week when we were working on my boat this conversation came up with him and Trisha that he never will ride his bike even if he's only had one drink.
I hate how just because a crash is late at night the media automatically assumes he was drinking.
No one know the real story but Sean now.... the media can go F themselvesPut your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein
