I made my manifold for future expansion of a 4th pump. Air is getting trapped in the manifold causing vapor lock. Also where I placed my check valves is making it hard for the air to vent as water is holding the check valve closed. I reran (or will be) some of the hose to allow the air to vent. I also am removing one of the check valves as the hose is higher than the top of the fatsac so I will not have an issue with the fatsac draining prematurely

Would you place check valves high or low?

So true!!! The good part is my wife and mother in law are leaving Thursday to go visit my daughter. I have them 4 days in Barcelona then back to Salmanaca since my daughter has to go to school sometime.

I originally had the fill check valves close to the manifold. I am removing the 2 fill check valves for the rear bags entirely. If I have to put them back I would place them on the fatsac close to where the fill line goes into the fatsac

                    xpjim1,

I notice that you put your intake on the back, are you happy with that decision or would you wish you had installed it on the bottom?

I installed a pair of wetsounds MB-8's and Pro 60's on the tower. I ran all the wiring and cables already. I am just to big to get in the compartment to mount the new amps. Taking it to a local guy in Lake Havasu to mount the amps and clean up the wiring. Good thing he is a Cadence dealer so having them installed by him will double the warranty on the new amps.

That is my project for next year, to replace my tower speaker. Let us know how it sounds!

Either way you cannot go wrong. For me it was easier going from the back.
I will let you know when I test the changes I made. If I eliminate the vapor lock and get to fill without backing up I will like it alot. The only true issue I have is I was about 1/2 inch to close to the right. It made relocating the bilge pump very tight. Not really a big issue as I am adding a second bilge pump on the port side

I hope the changes will solve your problem.
