I am looking forward to the weekend. The boat should be at my house or on the lake this weekend. However, we haven't decided on which lake. Definitely not the river since there has been a few problems lately.

If nothing you'll have bitching stereo to listen to
Yup, I am getting a great deal on this stereo install. I think the company might be using it to show off their stuff a little bit but I don't care...
What, you want me to take my boat to xxx for a display show???? Okay, I'll be there. But again, tigeblue has one that is even better than what I have. He paid more but got a great deal on it. IMO, I am the middle of the high end install.
Phil, so what I can understand is that a Class H amp is a modified Class AB amp. The class H amp is a lot better. Right????
Not necessarily. One cannot make a blanket statment based simply on class that one type is better than another. Better how?
For any circuit tolopogy, there is a first-class no holds barred quality way to do it, and there is a cheapo way to do it. There are super sounding and horrible sounding examples for probably every class of amp.
From what I see, (and Spharis probably could provide some good insght, in simplifierd terms; he is good at that) the G and H clases try to improve on power efficiencies by modulating the voltage available to the output devices rather than providing a fixed output voltage. This promises the possibility of amps that run cooler, and/or amps that can run longer; i.e. play for a longer period of time.
If those are your goals, class H might in fact be better. But, if a class H amp sounded bad, had a lot of distortion, had a bad frequency response, or other side effects due to its power supply modulation, the trade-off would probably not be worthwhile.
zat make any sense?
It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....
Yes, it make sense. I am just trying to understand what I have in the boat now. From what I have heard of Tigeblue's stereo, mine is not as powerful since he has a lot more watts coming out of his but for clarity, mine is going to match what he has very closely.
But, when I heard his stereo, I was amazed at how clean and clear the system was. I was amazed and expressed that to the installer. That is when the installer said, "oh, and that was a terrible recording of Bob Marley. Let me put something else on that would let you see what we are talking about." I about crapped my pants when he said that.
But, yes, amp's are dependent upon the type of stuff they put into them and the standards that they set. A kenwood amp is not a Kicerk Amp which is not an Arc Audio amp. they all have good and bad tradeoffs.. but that depends upon what you want to compromise...
Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

With Andrew???? Not that I need a ballast system but this is the first one that I am aware that Andrew has put in. Will be interesting to see how he does but I don't expect anything less than great from him in the first place.

Ya with Andrew and Domz.
It is his first one and Domz is helping out he did his own system.
We copied the MC on the reverse intake with the water puppy pumps.
It should fill in 3 min.
