              I'll take my $25 ($175 for all 7) 13gpm T800 over 1 $240 (3 = $720) pump, just my

How are you venting all 3 sacs? through the bilge through hull? You may need to check-valve it and the 3 vent lines.

I dont want to sound like i'm knocking the setup, just real curious how you guys are doing it with out putting any holes in the boat!

I will put 3 vent holes, but not any output holes. The entire system will be much simpler and cleaner. I'll share some pictures when I get done.

Ok, we will have the same number of holes. My drains and vents will T together and use the same thru-hull.

I won't have to use any Ts of check valves. I only need one hose going in and one out for the vent. The other advantage is that the pumps are self priming pumps. But I am sure your system works just as good and probably a lot faster than my will.

                    Thanks for the info.

If I was doing it i would have 1 main input and T them all together and make 1 output. But I think that might be too much pressure....Im just thinking... I have no use for ballast.

Mine really wont be much faster at all, I chose to go with the cheaper of the Tsunamis for cost reasons. I'm not in that big of a hurry that I need to fill sacs in 2.3 seconds or something. No doubt your system wil work great.

There is no single correct/best way to build a ballast system. I've already found a few things on mine that I would do differently if (when, I hope) I do another. I hope to add Ballast and other accessories to my list of services along with stereo installs. Next year I hope.

The thing that I didn't consider before was that by going with the Jabsco system is that you save some money on wires and other fittings. Although the system will cost more, it won't be that much more.
