                      lol.... that was a disaster that day... First trip with the boat, at the lake of the ozarks and hose comes off the engine, floods the boat, and the bilge pump clogs with carpet fuzz and explodes

                        why was it replaced?

                        Common failure mode for a bilge pump in a new boat is either getting it stuck, or the impeller getteing eaten up by stuff that fell in the bilge during assembly and manufacture...
