It's a 22 foot boat and she did see it at the Sacramento Boat Show this weekend (well, a 2008 version of it) so she was okay with it.

I just learned how to turn that damn boat to pick up people on the dock from the back. Very easy but she is just scared to drive that thing. IDK, I'm not sure why she is scared.

All that asked and said, my GF is gonna be a tough sell when it comes time for me to ask her to learn how to drive my boat(s).

Single-screw inboard is a very weird thing, especially for boaters who have only had outblard or stern-drive power available.

I personally love the accentuated prop-walk of an inboard at docking speeds; you can darn near slide the thing sideways, still...

It could all mental, just thinking that the boat is 24' might make her uncomfortable. I just hope for DA that she is just not blaming the size of the boat on her feeling uncomfortable. Driving a boat period could be the problem.

Please have her drive, dock, pull some one and put it on the trailer before you buy it

Sticker shock for sure.... I was looking at some stuff for $6K a minute ago... patio furniture!!!!!!


Anyway, here is something I am considering for only 1300.00...

I have never been comfortable driving with a tow, but I bet I am gonna have to get used to it this year...

My ex-wife would not even go out on the boat. Thank goodness that I lived at the lake at the time, or I would never have been able to get out on the water...
