Corporate email requires that the business has BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server) on a dedicated in-house server for you to recieve it on your blackberry. The other option is it's routed through RIM themselves (or it used to be). AT&T uses BES and i have an 8800, that said it does cost a bundle for the BES as well as the licensing.
