The gym will do wonders. I need to lose about 20lbs of travel weight, my problem is all the travel and eating out and drinking alcohol. I have been doing about the same as you 3x a week with weights and 30-60min a cardio each time

Okay, I really did not want to see that....

Have you noticed a lot of gas?

That seems exactly what is suppose to happen. IMO, I would lose a lot more weight if I exercised more but I would also probably need to increase my calorie intake.

I tend to be very skeptical when things like "changing the digestive track to preform better" are used in a diet campaign. It's like Phil said, burn more calories than intake. Building muscle will alway be the best way to burn calories and keep it off. Congrats on at least getting the diet going both of you. That is indeed a big first step.

I did have two beers on Friday night but reduced my food intake to compensate for those additional calories that I knew I was going to consume. I just wish it was easier to lose weight... Maybe a fat pill that took 10-40 lbs off in one shot.

They are doing this with chromium and one other item. Not sure but again, I already feel better about myself but I do miss pasta and french fries.

How about a weight-loss beer? It takes 200 calories away from you for every beer you drank...

I would weight nothing..... Blow away in a light breeze....

                            pasta and french fries?????

You can go the whole wheat pasta route and be doing a little better...

French fries are about like cigarettes in my book...

I just love pasta.... However, wheat pasta isn't available to me because I think this is a hypoallergenic diet. Too many people are allergic to wheat.

                              french fries with salt.

I am confused. Are you saying that the diet forbids all wheat products?
