I tend to be very skeptical when things like "changing the digestive track to preform better" are used in a diet campaign. It's like Phil said, burn more calories than intake. Building muscle will alway be the best way to burn calories and keep it off. Congrats on at least getting the diet going both of you. That is indeed a big first step.
