SO, I suppose I need to get over it, I gained some weight, and we both need to get back to our healthy eating. Not a diet per se, but a Weight Watchers-style system.

I just know I would shed more quickly if I would re-focus and lose some carbs... I do not eat a lot of carbs, (last night was steamed spinach and mushrooms, with a tuna steak) but I know what I do eat affects me...

That is about what I eat also. The portions are very, very small. Drinking water is a huge factor. If I am hungry, I drink a ton of water to curb the apatite.

That is a very realistic goal. Much healthier than my huge weight loss. But again, I do feel better about myself so far and my pants are not as tight in the waist.

Then you should be happy. Slight weight gain after you know that you didn't eat like you should have is half the problem. IMO, you have pointed out the problem and you are going to fix it. For that, I congratulate you. Some people don't know what caused their gain.

I have been doing a hi-fiber breakfast to help with cholesterol, but it seems to me that my good weight loss sort of slowed down when I started that up. I may just be getting too many calories...

True. I would normally have a whole piece of chicken and now I only have 1/2 of piece and a TON of water. I think I am pissing every hour.

You made me realize something, and specifically it is that my water intake has slowed down recently. I need to be putting more water down the pipes.

I will share that I have finally found all my bad form on my resistance training, and my sore shoulder is going away. I have added weight in several exercises, and I do feel I have started gaining some inches in areas I wanted to, pecs, biceps, thighs, calves... I feel better about my abs, it is just that to see the results, I have to get the fat off of the top of them first, and that is the last place where we as men lose fat....

I hear you on that. My calves are very bad when it comes to excess weight. Wish there was some magical pill that would reduce the fat in those areas also.
