I wouldn't leave my boat in the water. I have seen too many salt water boats with crap growing on the underside. Don't want that to happen to my boat.

I know in our lake we have stuff that grows. If docks and underwater structures get growth on them, anything else in the water will as well, salt or not.

we keep our boat in a reservoir that gets drained every winter. Perhaps that stops alot of the crap that grows elsewhere, because aside of a slight ring of dirt on my boat there is no crap growing on it.
