If you are going to do downloads for movies, I would suggest that you get an internet connection at home and use the iPhone's wifi connection to the wifi router at your house.

My daughter will be taking 12 units but she does not start back up until Feb 20th. I am sending her to Spain to do a semester there. she will in Europe for just over 3 months.

She is actually taking 2 classes now in the mini semester.

If you are going to do downloads for movies, I would suggest that you get an internet connection at home and use the iPhone's wifi connection to the wifi router at your house.

My thing is, I do not want to pay a dedicated line at the house. I am rural, with no cable, and only copper available with dial up.




My $40.00 a month unlimited data usage on my Nokia E-62 smart phone allows me to connect to the internet on any machine I want to, at a speed about 10 times faster than dial up. It also allows me internet in the middle of the lake, at my camper, or in any airport in the U.S. without paying the $10-$15.00 usage to get on and check e-mail.

I know, I bring a lot of unique situalional conditions to the argument, but for me it is truly the magic way to go...

see that's what I want to do as well phil, and what I was going to use it for. My deal is that I get tired of paying connect and disconnect fees on everything and the cable is the worse about it. Kinda why I was going to go dish and then the cell phone for internet as I move so dang much.
