This is the story she asks her bro for Verizon gift cards for Christmas so "we" could get new phones so. I told her I didn't want a new phone because I wanted to get an I phone and our 2 yr contract was up....so it's Christmas what do we get, effing verison gift cards . so we go look and the new voyager it an extra $60 a month to use all the app's. so she got the new POS venus and I got nothing o that right I got a 2 yr contract. She could have gotten a new razor for free and no contract.

In my book, that would be over $100. If the $100 is at one time or a total month after month in excess of $100, then we need to talk about it.

That makes total sense. Christina and I have issues with money at times but I also let her do the budget. As long as the bills are paid, I am okay with it. At the end of the month when that bank statement comes in, we both go over it and I can ask questions when we are reconciling it with Microsoft Money. At that time, we are both accountable for what we spend.

You could call your provider and ask. They might send you to the retentions department and you might get a chance to purchase a better phone. But again, that is only a possiblility.
