I do not do that to sound wishy-washy... I guess there are some things where I think I have already found my limitations...

Oh, one more thing though, with boats we have to deal with a very long ground cable, and all the noises and pops that go with not having a ground plane....
So glad I figured out the capacitor fix!!!!... BTW, I guess I need to make sure you know what I am doing and how, and you will want to be purchasing some bass blocker caps from Chris as a part of normal business....It's not an optical illusion.

My one thing is the birthday party... I am goi ng to take off early so I can air up balloons, hang streamers, dust and vaccuum, etc... That might keep me from being a total whore today...It's not an optical illusion.

Going to lunch in about an hour but will be back for the rest of the day
On a sterndrive for example, one can install the caps right at the plug for the throttle's trim control, up by the drivers seat. Proximity to the offending load seems to not be critical, and allows you to keep the caps out of the engine compartment. I get goosey about putting things in other peoples boats that might cause them to explode....
Understand, we are installing the caps in the existing boat wiring, not in the stereo wiring....Last edited by philwsailz; 01-04-2008, 03:00 PM.It's not an optical illusion.

This works for dock lights, ballast valves, trim pumps... I think it should work for fans too, but still have not heard from Dom if the caps I gave him worked.
