I will fire up the heater when I get home out there, and by the time people start showing up, it should be nice and comfortable out there. I have this little propane IR heater that is extremely low in emissions, and does a real good job of heating the garage.

Yep, the popular opinion seems to be to get it done by a pro. I would rather 3-4 hun $$$ and have it done right, then spend that on software that I have to learn to use and may not really use much after. Plus Matt brought up a good point about format. I will need to shrink and enlarge this for many uses. I dont want to loose quality and have it look pixelated.

The point about pixelation is one I had forgotten, but is SO true. I do simple stuff sometimes in paint, but it has its issues for sure. I tried to shrink the little woofer with the water drip I did yesterday, and when I attempted to shrink it, it just blew up.

This reminds me of a thing I try to remember: we use cobblers to repair shoes, we use plumbers to fix our plumbing. There are always things that others do better than us... When we need something they are good at, it usually works out pretty well when we get their help.

Drywall is one example. I remember spending several weekends in high school working with my boss in his rental house mudding and taping. We got it done, but made a huge mess, and it took forever.

I know of a crew now that could do the same job, hanging, taping and mudding in a relaxed afternoon... And when I look at what they charge vs. two of my weekends, I would be a fool not to use them. Plus, in the end, the job is only about 1000 times better than the one I would do....

I bet that will not last long, though....

I'm usually pretty good about knowing what I can and can't do, but I like to look into doing something my self first, before I farm it out.

Sometimes my time and end result, are worth more the money.

                          I cannot disagree.

Besides, when one has the opportunity, and does not mind, it is good to learn something...

Yep, wife is faxing back the app today. Cant wait to get into the nitty-gritty of this. My son is peeing down both legs knowing I will have Kicker stuff. I think he will be my biggest customer, but the hardest to collect from

I would love to learn how to do this kinda stuff, but with our boat show 5 weeks away, I want to have at least a basic website up and running by then

I realize my posts are a little contrary to each other, one being hire it done, and the other learn something new...

I do not do that to sound wishy-washy... I guess there are some things where I think I have already found my limitations...
