A buddy of mine just a little south of here has no power still, almost a week after the first wave of storms. My parents in Norman got hit worse, adn they just now have power back up and running.It's not an optical illusion.

actaully, now that you mention it Zad, I agree. Pretty similar.
This one is apparently the worst one to hit anywhere near here in a while.
This morning was tough for a couple of guys; apparently a water main had burst, and there was a slick spot at a major commute intersection. I saw the water, and was familiar with the area to know to change lanes, but I saw one guy who had slid over a curb, and basically was rear-ended by another just behind him who also slid up over the curb.
Despite being warm here, it cleared yesterday, so it got real cold over night...It's not an optical illusion.

Yeah that ice/snow storm knocked out power to people for a week+, we were out for 3 days. I think our neighborhood is conncected to a retirement center so I bet that our line has priority over some others.Common Sense is not so Common
