Then as I was putting my computer away she walks by and with a cocky attitude say THANKS. Have a nice day. haha. I just laughed and so did the guys at the other table. They new what was going on. Something to laugh about it did not hurt my feelings she was the only one getting pushed out of shape and the one that was upset.

yeah, my deal is that I will never leave 0 tip, esp if it's a company card. I just leave 10 or 5 that's more of an insult then zero. Plus they are out there trying to survive as well. But then again that's just because I have done it for so long and no what it's like. There are certain times when it's beyond thier control, highly unlikely in there case, but I also can't be mean because it's bad karma and since i still do the service industry it's how I roll.

I also like to leave comments on the credit card slip because all managers have to see them. So then it's a double whammy, low tip and in trouble.

i mean I guess it is different out here in CA as they still make 7.50 an hour. back home you only got 2.13 so they have to have the tips.

Ya I am the same way except in this case my pants looked like I just did not want to find a bathroom because of her throwing things around. If she did not expect the other person to do her job I probably would have given her a tip. Plus now I was running as fast as I could to get to my flight gate in another terminal because she would not run my card and the other waitress and her were fighting so it was a comedy club. Good thing my drink was only water. I would have been pissed if I had to sit on a plane for 2 hours all sticky.

And as a result they give real service for it. In cali then tend to think it is there right and they should get it for nothing even when they make a decent wage compared to other states.

That is what I have noticed from traveling. There is a place in Austin Texas the service was amazing. Can't remeber the name but the guys I was working with took me there. Amazing food and service.

yeah, i typically get tons better service everywhere outside of cali.

but then again even in bako I have been getting better service due to the fact I know people, if I don't know them though it BLOWS!!

also typically chains give better service as their are more managers to watch out and make sure everything is done right, ya know?

the worst service I get anywhere is always airports
