I am a total advocate of watercraft licensing. The age limit thing is a tougher thing, as I know some very responsible young boaters, but you have to draw a uniform line somewhere...
This is for all watercraft in my opinion... Again, I do not have a problem with letting young people drive, but I cannot see that we could with any conscience let a license to operate a watercraft go to a potential operator under 12 or 14 years of age. It's not the age or the maturity it's the fact that most younger people do not always think like someone older with more experience. I feel there needs to be an age, and it just needs to be that way. Read USA today, Nove 27th and there is a factual story on how many 2 -5 year olds are getting hurt, mamed or killed on atv's. There needs to be a cut off, just needs to be.Originally posted by G-MONEYIt hurts me to say it but go OU but only for this weekend!!!!
