How do you like my new avatar???? It's a wakeboarder taking off the head of a jetskier.. he he he
Any method of removing the cranium from buzz-bomb and bumble-bee pilots is greatly appreciated...
Those things multiply too quickly....
It is amazing that as a general rule we as a waterborne society let loose the highest power per pound and trickiest to drive water-craft into the hands of novice idiots.
It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....
I mean, I am a responsible boater, and have owned PWC's before, but that is not the rule; most PWC riders are on them because they are the least costly motorized means of hitting the water from a purchase and operation standpoint. 80 percent of all on-water accidents happen on PWC's where the operator has less than 30 minutes total experience with the craft.
I am a total advocate of watercraft licensing. The age limit thing is a tougher thing, as I know some very responsible young boaters, but you have to draw a uniform line somewhere...
This is for all watercraft in my opinion... Again, I do not have a problem with letting young people drive, but I cannot see that we could with any conscience let a license to operate a watercraft go to a potential operator under 12 or 14 years of age. I would be curious to know Zad's thoughts...

Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein
