wow you did some posting. I was on a conf call.

the salton sea was interesting, a disaster never ment to happen is what it was.

The History Channel show I watched on it suggested there is desire to build a big wall out in the middle of the thing in an effort to reclaim the north 1/3 of the Salton Sea for recreational puroses; an effort to get North Shores back alive.

Sonny Bono had a huge desire to keep the Salton viable; it has been there long enough, and enough crap has settled on the bottom that it is bad. When it dries and the level drops, they have bad dust storms from blowing silt, and the stuff makes people pretty sick. Imagine it drying up and all of those years of pesticides and poison being re-distributed....

I still would like to throw a turd boat in and go exploring for a good weekend sometime; I really dig looking at deserted / abandoned / forgotten things and places... Try to invision what it was like to be there when it was still a "real" place.

Besides, it is not often when one can throw anchor, moon the world, cuss yell and scream in a "yacht club" basin; you could do that there...

It is going to almost 80 today, and will hover in the upper 50's to low 60's overnight.

A tiny bit warm, but it really feels food.
