The local lake the I go to is at 382.16 feet now. This weekend, they are planning to release even more water so they can encourage salmon to come to the fish hatchery and lay their eggs. What in the world is this world coming to now????

In other words, they are releasing water from the damn to make the water colder so the salmon will come up river since the river is still above 70 degrees and apparently salmon don't like warm water.

I used to play cards with some buddies a lot. One moved out of state and the other moved out of town, so we do not play cards so much any more...

I have a friend that might need some help this weekend; I want to be able to help if I get a call...

I went out to the lake about 3 weeks ago and it was 5 feet higher than it is right now. The fork that we usually boat in is about 20 feet wide now. When we boated there last, it was 50+ feet..

That sucks, but I understand. This time last year, my dock was sitting on dry land, and there would have been no way to tie my boat to my dock, except for maybe off of the very end.

No money involved here. I would lose if we played with money. That is why I don't go to Nevada very much. Just am not luck with cards when money is involved.

We are hoping for a lot of snow this year. Last year, it didn't rain very much which was nice because we moved into a new house but this year, let it rain. We need water right now.

Are you feeling the affects of this drought in the southeastern part of the country?

The deck section in the last photo is obviously new, so I was okay with the water being low; it let me get the posts set a lot easier...
