Beer, a little lemon juice (lime works also at times to bring in a different taste), tequila, garlic, and celantro.

I will have to try the salt idea one time. Maybe this weekend.

Raw on the half, I usually just do salt and either lemon, or horseradish. I prefer them "neater" than most. Too much stuff hides the flavor of the little beast.

OOH!!!! Also, when I have been at The Palms in Las Vegas, there is a good oyester bar inside of the mexican restaurant. Multiple types of Salsa are good on oysters, and ditch the cracker, go with a tortilla chip.
