You should have seen the laptop after the last caribbean cruise. Had it out on the patio deck of my room on the ship for music. Shook a lot of salt out of it after I got home. I am amazed it still works...

You are a lucky man... When living in Hawaii, we had a lot of keyboard problems because of the humidity and the salt all around us.

I hear you on the schooling. I went to school for computers and worked in the accounting office during school. Well, my second, third, and current IT job was working for the finance office.

At least I had an opportunity to do some good engineering during the time period I worked for Q-Logic and Rockford Fosgate. Used the degree AND the audio experience there for a while.

It is weird going to the Crutchfield catalog and finding a product page where better than 80% of the product on the page is your work...

I did most of the Q-Logic fuzzy boxes that are out there today, and did the hugely successful Punch Loaded product from about 5 years ago for RF

This is non-kid weekend for me. So, besides yard work, there should be some R&R in order. Maybe watching a football game could be in order.

I have no kids so every weekend is pretty much a no-kid weekend. MAybe someday I can change that. I think being a dad might be cool; I need to do it if I am going to before I get too much older!!!!!!

Airbrush is a lot easier with a computer, when you can't tickle them....
