I don't want to suggest anything negative, as your amp is from another manufacturer... Sharing carefully...

Also, do not take what I am sharing personally, it is just an observation based on a few facts... Not to be misconstrued by any means...

The amp you are using is on the small side when compared with other systems, including those from the Tige facory as well as Dom's.

The Tige' factory installs do not have fans, and I know they wil run a long time with no fans. My install is crowded, and in a small area with no fan and no ventilation. I can jam quite a while at WOT before thermal, and will not thermal at normal every day listening levels, (slightly elevated talking voice, not yelling).

You really may not need that fan. I would bet not.

phil makes a very valid point. My install is on the oppisite end of the spectrum, with some serious watts. I mean honestly I think I could turn it into a demo boat But hey that's just me. I don't know how to do anything half arse, or only 50% I go big or go home.

based on what your using I wouldn't put a fan in unless you just half too

so with that input, try this. Leave the fan off, jam hard, and time your stereo run time. It is a newer amp, with good protection. If it gets hot, it shoudl go into protect mode. Time it and let us know how long it takes. I bet it will not turn off....

I need to borrow andy's fake a lake to see if my noise is still there now that all my batts are now hooked up. I mean before I didn't even have one of the amp sets grounded correctly, wow scary would could hav happened there.

The fan is probably located on his amp. He would need to cut the wire to have the fan stop. IMO, not suggested but I am not a stereo guru...

with what he has, I bet so as well, UNLESS he puts lots of stuff in the compartment and zero area for free air then I could see it getting hot. But my stock tige one never got hot and I jamed it all the time.

Crap I gotta box up those speakers and send them to you

You will probably find that with the full charge on all cells that the capacitance is up across the board, and the system will likely be a little quieter. I doubt it will have killed the fan noise, but it should be reduced...

if he is getting a fan noise from an internal fan on the amp that's BS he has a bad amp, all my amps are internally cooled, and not 1 has a feedback to my speakers!

He has said that he has unplugged it or removed the fuse. Leads me to believe it is an add-on...

the issue is that I really only had a feedback, I'm assuming it was the fan, at 1000rpm, when I went faster it went away. Hence why I'm wondering/hoping it is gone now that all the batts are hooked up. My blower is still freaking loud as crap, so looks like I may be buying another blower. I thought I bought a quiet one but guess not.
