all I know is I added 6 batteries cuz duane suggested it and I'm so glad I did, heck even on the DEEP bass notes they don't surge, and the alternator keeps up too I love it!

Don't do it until you have your stereo problems solved. You don't need to have multiple problems happening at one time...
