Includes are code that you put into one file. That file is reference in the web page and the code is inserted into that page. What this does is the changes to the menus that we did would have only had to be done one time. Remember, we had to change them on every html page that you have... It simplifies the code and helps to make things easier to change/modify.

Yes, but only changing it in one spot makes for an easier time to modify the pages. You only have 6 html pages which doesn't seem like a problem but when you have 10+, doing the copy and paste seems to be a lot of work.
