I got the warranty I read over a little of it the other day and i think it does cover water damage

My son has jumped in the lake twice this summer with his he let it dry out and works fine

Put some white out over it, I dropped mine in a bucket of unhardened cement and hosed it off, It seemed to work fine but the ringer changes on its own hahaha

It's only on the battery???? Crap, I'll go buy a new battery but will check it out tonight to see if I can get it warrantied somehow....

You can fake the dot

Take off the old one and get a small hole punch, clear tape, white paper and a glue stick.


Put a strip of clear tape on the paper hole punch it and glue it in the spot of the old one.


I did it and got a new one!!!

most cell's have the dot on the battery and the phone look for both.

open your battery and look for a pink dot. It turns from white to pink if it gets wet.
