750# with a ballast puppy with no restrictions would take over 8.2 minutes. With a tsunami 1200 with no restrictions would be 4.5 minutes. Both are for 1 pump. In my opinion 2 pumps per bag is overkill. It is nice to use the same pump to fill and empty. You need to make sure to turn these off when the water is not flowing as they tend to burn up impellars. They used to sell the ballast puppies with the wiring and switches which were nice. They also draw more amps than the tsunami pumps. I had a tough time deciding as I was going to make a similar manifold as the make-wake system. Ended up with the tsunamis due to cost and ease of changing cartriges if they go bad. um you start filling the sacs when you drive out, then you stop and have to put the kids/parents in a board, and hook up the rope. I can fill all of my sacs 1200 lbs in 8 minutes and my pumps were 30 each. I think your puppies are over kill, but hey so is my system so each to his own. The idea of having the pumps go this fast is to save a little on gas expenses but I guess I could be sitting still doing the fill and empty also.Comment

um, you won't notice that much more fuel consumption when they are full. what kills your gas is starting and stopping, ie teaching people. When I go out with a bunch of people, aka ballast I don't notice the boat burning anymore fuel then when I go out with a few people.
