      It was great. I was able to talk with him for a little while and look at what his ballast system was. He has a sweet setup and by far, knows what he is talking about. We were in our boat while his wife was surfing when we got there. We looked over to his boat and his wake was HUGE!!!! It had to be 3-4 feet tall. I would say 3 for sure.... Just simply amazing....

            Ya I definitely envy his ballast setup. 3-4 feet is huge!! And I'm sure his is not only big.. but long too! Was James out there too? Did you get to see that kid tear it up?

                Yes, James was out there and almost pulled off a Superman. Missed it by a few milliseconds...... Simply amazing...

                    its on my boat but it was before it went into the shop. I think the motor work is done, all that is left now is the tower

                      What is your weight configuration? Just wondering. I know that surfdad's system will work out but his boat ballast system is set up for surfing. However, we also board so that makes it a little difficult.....

                          I think its about 700 in the rear corner. almost 400 up front and three ppl on that side.

                                With the last trip out, we had 500# in the rear locker, 400# in the ski locker and 0# in the bow. Taps was at 4 (I think). I am sure more than ever now that we needed more weight in the front with everything else the same.... During this winter, I am planning to have one great ballast system installed. I can't wait until next year...
