Da. bell, if you were to do one set of entities, ie 3 speakers it would be probably more loudness then you would ever want. What are you doing next week? if I come up that way mabye we could meet up somewhere and I'll just hook it up and show you. Also, if you wanted you could come down and meet Duane and he has all that stuff we could just plug and move stuff around on his tower or mine so you could see and hear what you want. If it's not loud enough add a set of tyrants, and you will be golden!

No, I am just looking around. I don't have that much cash to drop on anything right now. I am just doing some looking around and asking questions. I like the idea of the 3-Some that WS has but I like the idea of NVS's because I know they are louder. Now, that is just IMO and others on WW. With the setup I said, I know there will be different amp levels of sound but I think a richer spectrum of sound than all one model type up there.

true true. I know your just looking, but when you have the time give duane a call, he will take you out and let you hear what ever you feel, or heck Ill take you out and the way I have mine wired we can turn eac speaker on or I should say set, so we could listen to just the bass, just the 6.5's and just the NVS's and all together, so you can see how truely loud these are. I am really amazed at how much difference this amp I bought makes. I want to buy these amps for all my speakers, but will have to wait probably till next year, as I don't have that kind of $$ now.

I hear you on the money part. We are refi'ing our home late this year and will free up some $. Our tax returns should pay for the stereo and the money we save for our mortgage payment can go into the ballast system. But, again, this is something that I plan to do later and will definitely call Duane when the time is right. I am just wanting to do this project right the first time and don't want to do it again because it wasn't right.

yeah, very good point! and my offer still stands to help you with the ballast, and I'll help with your stereo when the time comes. Before you buy any parts though for your stereo let me know. I have so much wire and connectors laying around I can probably plumb your boat with my extra.

Ballast:
1 - 800# integrated bow sac from fly high
2 - 400# locker sacs from fly hight.

The locker sacs might have to be custom made since I want to have the ice chest that came in the starboard locker to say in the locker and barely have room to fit. I have to build two benches that would sit over the top of the sacs where one of the benches will hold the ice chest up and the other locker would store the life jackets that are currently kept under the glove box area. The glove box area will stay a huge storage area or I will have two additional custom sac's built for those areas that will also serve as ballasts. So, in theory, I could have 3 sacs at minimum but 5 sacs in total but again, this is just an idea....
